Introduction
Mr. M. B. Shakir is a senior Punjabi Poet of surrounding village Mokal near Kanganpur. His real name is Muhammad Boota Shakir. M. B. Shakir was born on 1st February 1983 at Adda Plot Raiwind Road Lahore.
The name of his father is Manzoor Ahmad and Mother’s name is Sharifaan Bibi. His parents later settled at Village Mokal.
Educational History
Mr. M. B. Shakir passed his Matriculation in 2005 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad through distance learning system.
Mr. M. B. Shakir was married in 2005. He has no child yet. It’s our humble pray to Almighty Allah to bless him a child aameen.

M. B. Shakir started doing Punjabi poetry in shape of Ghazals in 2001. Late Ustad Nazir Ahmad Zahid was literary teacher of M. B. Shakir who taught him whole heartedly and with care. M. B. Shakir worked as member of two Punjabi literary organizations named Punjabi Adbi Sanjh Kanganpur and Satluj Adb Preet Mokal.
