Dr. Khawar Khurshid was born in 1967 in the house of Khurshid Ahmad at Mirkot near Chunian. Now he lives at Beroon Qila Ropa Singh Main Road Chunian District Kasur.
Education Journey
Prof. Dr. Khawar Khurshid passed his matriculation in 1982 from Government High School Chunian. Mr. Khawar received his FSc certificate in 1984 from Government Graduate College Pattoki and BSc (Math, Physics) in 1987 from Government Islamia College Civil Lines Lahore via Punjab University Lahore.
Professor sahb did B.Ed. from Govt College of Education Lower Mall Lahore and passed Master of Education in 1992 from Punjab University Lahore. He also obtained the degree of Master of Arts in Punjabi in 1994.
Dr. Khawar Khurshid earned the degree of Master of Philosophy in Education in 2003 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. He also obtained the degree of Doctorate of Philosophy in Education from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad.
Books, Research Thesis & Research Articles
Dr. Khawar Khurshid wrote helping books/Guides for different classes. He wrote a very authentic book named “Khutbaat e Kasur” for the students of Master of Education in 2008. However, He published study guides named “Jadeed Ilamm_ Taaleem” for the classes of First year, Second year, Third year and forth year published by Jadeed Book Depot Lahore in different years.
The topic of his research Thesis of Master of Philosophy in Education is “Effectiveness of Video Instructional Programs of Allama Iqbal Open University at Intermediate Level”.
The topic of his research Thesis of Doctorate of Philosophy in Education is” An Investigation into the Nature & Treatment of Learning Difficulties of Distance Learners at Intermediate Level”.
Moreover, five research articles of Dr. Khawar Khurshid have been published in an international research journal AYER that publishes from Spain.
Job Description of Educationist Dr. Khawar Khurshid
Dr. Khawar Khurshid passed the competitive exam of Punjab Public Service Commission and recommended as SST (Science) in 1993. And then Lecturer in Education in 1995. Dr. Sahb joined his duty as Lecturer in Education on 9th December 1995 at Government College Kahuta District Rawalpindi.
Doctor sahb was selected as Assistant Professor of Education and joined Government Graduate College Pattoki on 31st May 2011. He was promoted as Associate Professor of Education (BPS 19) by the Punjab Higher Education Department on 4th October 2022.
Now, he is performing his duties as Associate Professor & Head of Department of Teacher Education at Government Graduate College Chunian District Kasur. He started B.Ed. 1.5 years Program for the first time in Public college to be affiliated from PU.
