Punjabi Poet Muhammad Aslam Shad:

Muhammad Aslam Shad is a beautiful Punjabi Poet of Kanganpur area. He was born on 1st April 1969 in the house of Ghulam Muhammad and Surya Bibi at Goharr Jageer Mandi Usmanwala District Kasur. Later his family settled in Kot Bismillah Kanganpur. Muhammad Aslam Shad has 8 brothers and 4 sisters. Now Muhammad Aslam Shad lives at Mohallah Jamia Huzuria Mandi Kanganpur.

Muhammad Aslam Shad received his early education from Government High School Mandi Usmanwala. Muhammad Aslam Shad passed Matriculation examination as a private student in 1992. He did F. A in 2003 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad through distance learning system. Muhammad Aslam Shad obtained the degree of Bachelor of Arts in 2007 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. He received the degree of Master of Arts in History from Punjab University Lahore in 2012 as a private student. Muhammad Aslam Shad also obtained Primary Teaching Certificate in 1995 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad.

Mr. Muhammad Aslam Shad got married with Ghulam Fatima on 13th March 2002. He has two daughters and two sons who are studying in different educational institutions in Kanganpur.

Muhammad Aslam Shad started teaching the students at a private school named Farooq Model School Sham Kot Nau and an academy named Allama Iqbal Educational Academy Sham Kot Nau from 1996 to 2005. Then he did a daily wages job at Town Committee Kanganpur till 29th June 2006. From 30th June 2006 to till now, Mr. Muhammad Aslam Shad is performing his services as Security Guard in Kissan Support Services Limited in Zari Taraqiati Bank Limited Ellahabad.

Muhammad Aslam Shad started doing Punjabi poetry in 2008. He took part almost in every meeting of poets at Kanganpur. The people like his poetry too much. Muhammad Aslam Shad is member of a Punjabi literary organization named Punjabi Adbi Sangat Kanganpur. He often invites local Punjabi Poets at his residence for grand tea party.

Muhammad Aslam Shad is also a Punjabi lover and activist. He often took part in 21st February International Mother Language Day celebrations at Chairing Cross Lahore with the demand of imposing Mother Language Punjabi as medium of instruction from primary to degree classes in the educational institutions of Punjab.

Mr. Muhammad Aslam Shad is very cooperative and helping person who, in spite of being a poor man, always tries to help miserable people.

میں واسی دیس پنجاب دا
میری سبھ توں اچی پگ

میرے سبھ توں سوہنے واہتری

میری دھرتی سونا آگ دی
