Wazir Ali Raja Poet of Kanganpur:
Wazir Raja is a beautiful senior Punjabi Poet of Kanganpur. His real name is Muhammad Wazir Ahmad Raja. He was born on 17th September 1982 in the house of Muhammad Hanif and Surya Bibi at Mandi Kanganpur. Now he lives at Rehman City Kanganpur. Mr. Wazir Raja has one brother and three sisters. Mr. Wazir Raja deals in wood works business at Kanganpur.
Mr. Wazir Raja passed his Matriculation from Rai Islamic High School Kanganpur in 2002. He got Higher Secondary School Certificate in 2006 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad through distance learning system. He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Arts in 2008 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad. He received the degree of Master of Arts in History from Punjab University Lahore as a private student in 2012. Mr. Wazir Raja also passed Bachelor of Education in 2014 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad.
Wazir Ali Raja Poet of Kanganpur was got married to Rimsha Wazir on 28th May 2016. He has two sons and one daughter. The names of his children are Ali Haider, Wasi Haider and Samreen Fatima.
Mr. Wazir Raja started doing Punjabi poetry in shape of Ghazals in 2008 and recieved literary guidance from Waheed Raza and Akram Rehan. His poetry has been published in Daily Bhulakha Lahore, Daily Khabraan Lahore and Monthly Swair International Lahore. Mr. Wazir Raja is present General Secretary of Bazam e Rehan Kanganpur. Mr. Wazir Raja took part a lot of meetings of poets in different cities of Punjab including Kanganpur.
Along with all this, Mr. Wazir Raja is also a true Punjabi lover & activist. He often takes part in 21st February International Mother Language Day processions at Press Club Lahore and presents his demands to impose his sweet mother language Punjabi as medium of instruction from primary to degree classes in the schools and colleges of the province of Punjab.
