Senior Punjabi Poet Munir Hussain Haidery is a famous personality of Kanganpur city. He is a beautiful Punjabi as well as Urdu Poet. Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery was born on 26th April 1968 in the house of Late Abdul Hameed and Late Hanifaan Begum at Kanganpur. He lived at Mohallah Kals Kanganpur. Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery has three brothers and three sisters. He belong to a respectable and educated family.

Munir Haidery Haidery passed his Matriculation examination with Science subjects in 1984 from Government High School Kanganpur. He got his Higher Secondary School Certificate in 1986 as a private student from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore. Munir Hussain obtained the degree of Bachelor of Arts as a private student in 1990 from University of The Punjab Lahore.

He also received the degree of Master of Arts in Punjabi as a private student from University of The Punjab Lahore in 1999. He also passed M.Sc in Gender & Women’s Studies in 2010 from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad through distance learning system. Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Youth Development from Common Wealth Organization England. The host university of this 1 and half years PGD program was Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad.

Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery passed Primary Teaching Certificate in 1987 from Government Elementary Teachers Training College Kasur. He also passed Certificate of Teaching in 1990 from Directorate of Education Lahore Division Lahore. He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Education in 1995 from University of The Punjab Lahore. Then he got admission in Institute of Education & Research University of The Punjab Lahore in M. Ed class and obtained the degree of M. Ed in 2001. He wrote his M. Ed thesis on the topic of “Bar e Saghir Main Mughalon Kay Nizam e Taaleem Ka Jaiza” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Qayyum Chaudhry.

Munir Haidery Haidery got married with Shahnaz Munir on 12th April 1998. He has three sons and one daughter who are receiving education from different schools, colleges and universities.

Poetry

Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery started doing poetry in 2001. He writes Hamad, Naat, Ghazal, Marseya, Qaseeda, Rubai, Qitta in Punjabi and Urdu poetry. The book of his religious poetry is ready to publish. Munir Hussain Haidery got literary guidance from Sain Naz Hussain Naz Mastana from Havaili Lakha. His poetry has published in various renowned literary journals and newspapers. Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery is Present General Secretary of a Punjabi literary organization named Punjabi Adbi Sangat Kanganpur.

Senior Punjabi Poet Munir Hussain Haidery received “Best Speaker Award” on 14th August 2004 by Mirza Qadir Ahmad Chairman Union Council Kanganpur. He also received “Best Volunteer Certificate” by National Commission for Human Development in 2007.

Job Description

Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery joined Punjab School Education Department as a Primary School Teacher on 17th May 1988. He started working as Learning Coordinator in the office of Assistant Education Officer Markaz Kanganpur from 27th June 1996. Then Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery joined Directorate of Staff Development as District Teacher Educator at CTSC Government Girls High School Kotha from 18th August 2008. After this, Munir Hussain Haidary got departmental promotion as Elementary School Teacher in 2014 and appointed at Government Elementary School Mehar Chand Wala. He availed pre time retirement on 31st August 2017. Now a days, he is leading his life as a retired person.

Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery is Zakir of Imam Hussain A.S. He has been doing Zakari for last 39 years. He is also Gem Stones Expert and deals in gem stones now a days. Munir Hussain Haidery accompanied by his Mother Late Hanifaan Begum and his wife went to Ziarat of Sacred Places of Iran, Iraq and Syria from 28th October 2018 to 12th December 2018. Mr. Munir Hussain Haidery is representative of daily newspaper Frontline Lahore. He is also Chairman of Azad Press Club Kanganpur.
