Due to its oldness, the local Christian community also commonly called this Church as Church Number 1. It is located at Mohallah Christian on the mound of old city Kanganpur. It situated under the shade of an old Banyan tree.

This oldest Church Number 1 constructed by local Christian community to fulfill the needs of religious obligations and prayers. Church Number one Kanganpur constructed in the year 1976 under the supervision of Community leader Noor Samand. Some years ago, present Pastor renamed Church Number 1 as Real Life In Jesus Christ Ministery Kanganpur. Total area of Real Life In Jesus Christ Ministery Kanganpur including Dera is nearly one Kanal.

Pastors of The Church

When the construction of Church Number 1 completed, local Christian community made their community leader Noor Samand as First Priest/Pastor of Church Number 1. Noor Samand also elected members of Union Council Kanganpur of his times. After the death of Pastor Noor Samand, Dilawar Masih made second Pastor of Church Number 1.

After the demise of Pastor Dilawar Masih, Shoqat Masih made third Pastor of Church Number one Kanganpur. After the death of Shoqat Masih, his son Imran Shoqat Masih made fourth Pastor of Church Number 1. Pastor Imran Shoqat Masih is still Pastor of the Church. The educational qualification of Mr. Imran Shoqat Masih is matriculation. Mr. Imran Shoqat is the Pastor who renamed Church Number 1 as Real Life In Jesus Christ Ministery Kanganpur.

Others

The local Christian community is free to observe their religious activities and prayers without any interference from Muslim majority. The church administration arranges Christmas and Easter celebrations and prayers with full religious devotion and anthusism. The administration of Church Number 1 also celebrated Good Friday (Friday before Christmas) and Palm 🌴 Sunday (Sunday before Easter). Here is also complete arrangements of Thanksgiving services as well. The Church administration arranges Sunday service on every Sunday as well in which local Christian community members take part. The Church administration often arranges healing services as well in the Church. Mr. Shaira Masih and Mr. Veera Masih helped the Church administration in arranging different religious programs and ceremonies.

The administration of www.kanganpur.com is very thankful to Mr. Aslam Sheraz Khan Pastor Church # 2 and Christian community member Mr. Irfan Aarish who provides us historical information regarding Church Number 1 Kanganpur. I would like to mention here that present Pastor Imran Shoqat Masih proved very non cooperative with us. We called him to collect the historical information about Church Number 1 Kanganpur for us. After this, we called him again and again every day for a week but he didn’t attend our call. It is our pray to God Almighty to make him learn how to cooperate with researchers.
