Introduction & Life History of Late Bashir Ahmad Ajaz: Haji Bashir Ahmad Ajaz was born in 1946 at Garhi Shah Lahore in the house of Ghulam Fatima and Molana Abdul Aziz. His father Molana Abdul Aziz was a big religious scholar. Molana Abdul Aziz remained Imam Masjid in a mosque of Okara city. After the death of his father Molana Abdul Aziz, Bashir Ahmad Ajaz settled in Kanganpur. He was very fond of poetry. He received literary guidance from renowned Punjabi Poet Daim Iqbal Daim and became a Poet of Naats.

Haji Bashir Ahmad Ajaz was not a professional Poet. He wrote countless Hamads, Naats, Qasidas, Madhas, National songs, Ghazals and poems. Haji Bashir Ahmad Ajaz was a true lover of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa(PBUH). So he offered Umra of the house of Allah in spite of being a poor man.

“Habib e Khuda” the first book of Urdu and Punjabi Naats of Haji Bashir Ahmad Ajaz was published in 2000 A. D. “Habib e Khuda” was published with the economical assistance of Malik Ibad Hussain from Kals Gama. Hundreds of copies of “Habib e Khuda” were distributed free of cost among the readers.

Chief guests of honour of the opening ceremony of “Habib e Khuda” were Malik Ibad Hussain Kals and Malik Shahjahan Babar Kals. After seeing his great love for the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), Malik Shahjahan Babar Kals announced Umra package for Late Bashir Ahmad Ajaz. So Bashir Ahmad Ajaz did Umra at the holy city of Mecca and also visited Roza e Mubarak of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) at Madina Manawara during the Ramadan of 2001. Bashir Ahmad Ajaz died on 28th July 2002.

After the death of Bashir Ahmad Ajaz, his sons published his second book of Naats named “Noor Al Huda” in January 2018. Every year on 28th of July on eve of annual Barsi of Late Bashir Ahmad Ajaz, Mehfil e Naat and Qurankawani is arranged by the sons of Late Bashir Ahmad Ajaz. According to his son Barjees Ajaz a lot of his poetry is still unpublished and our family members will publish it on near future.
