Chaudary Ahsan Raza Khan, Great Son of Kanganpur

Chaudary Ahsan Raza Khan is Ex Member of Provincial Assembly of Punjab and Ex Parliamentary Secretary Literacy and Non-Formal Education Punjab. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan was born on 1st December 1974 at Kanganpur in the house of late Ch. Yasin Khan Numberdar and late Chando Begum.

Chaudary Ahsan Raza KhanKhan belongs to a very respectful family. His late father Ch. Yasin Khan Numberdar was also a political worker and took part in local body elections many times.

He has four brothers named Ch. Ahmad Raza Khan Numberdar, Ch. Hashim Raza Khan, Ch. Hammad Raza Khan and Ch. Khalid Raza Khan.

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan got his early education from Government Elementary School Kanganpur (Now Government High School Kanganpur). He passed his matriculation from Government Higher Secondary School Kanganpur in the year 1990.

He obtained his Higher Secondary School Certificate from Government Islamia Degree College Kasur in 1992. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan earned his degree of Bachelor of Arts from Government Islamia Degree College Kasur in 1994.

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan got married in 2005. He has two sons and one daughter. The names of his children are Umer Ahsan Khan, Ali Ahsan Khan and Mahnoor Ahsan. All the children are getting education from reputed educational institutions in Lahore.

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan offered Umra two times in life. He also went on Europe tour and visited Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Itley, Belgium, Austria and United Kingdom.

Work Experience as Student Leader & Political Worker

Initially, Chaudary Ahsan Raza Khan started his organizational career as City Nazim Anjman Talba Islam City Kanganpur in 1988. While studying at Government Islamia Degree College Kasur, Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan worked as College Nazim of Anjman Talba Islam in 1991.

Moreover, he also worked as Chairman Students Affairs Anjman Talba Islam of Lahore Division. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan is present Additional General Secretary of Muslim League (N) Youth Wing Tehsil Chunian. Chaudhary Sahib started his political career as elected Counselor and became Vice Chairman of Town Committee Kanganpur in 1998.

First time, he participated in 2002 ‘s General Elections as MPA and ticket holder of Pakistan Muslim League (N) but could not be succeeded in this election. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan was elected as MPA with the ticket of Pakistan Muslim League (N) in the general election of 2008.

The Government of Punjab made him as Parliamentary Secretary Literacy and Non-Formal Education Punjab. He has been working as Chairman District Sports for 5 years as well. After this, he also took part in the General elections of 2013 and 2018 but couldn’t be succeeded.

Chaudary Ahsan Raza Khan has a progressive thinking. It is a bright fact that Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan worked day and night for the development and advancement of his constituency. Whenever we met him, he discussed new eras of betterment of the area.

Advancement in Education, Health & Sports Sectors

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan knows better that education is the best tool for betterment. He sincerely worked hard for mega educational projects. Chaudhary Sahib opened Government Chando Begum Associate College for Women Kanganpur and Government Associate College For Women Ellahabad.

With the special interest and struggle of Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan, TEVTA opened Government Technical Training Center at Kanganpur in 2012 where young boys are getting technical and professional education.

Unluckily, there was no girls high school in Ellahabad city. So, on the demand of the people of Ellahabad, Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan opened Government Girls High School Ellahabad.

Moreover, with his special interest, Government Girls Elementary Schools located at UC Kul, UC Kotha, UC Dhothay and UC Bhagiwal were upgraded to Government Girls High Schools. Government Higher Secondary School Kanganpur was declared as Model school and a grant of 30 crores was issued for its development.

Government Primary schools located at Qaim Shahwala in UC Mokal and UC Dhothay were upgraded to Government Elementary Schools. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan opened ten new Government Primary schools in his constituency.

No doubt, his work for education especially for women education is very commendable and exemplary.

On the direction of Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan, Punjab Health department opened 24 hours Emergency ward at Rural Health Center Kanganpur, constructed new ward, provided the facilities of Altra sound, X-Rays machine and Lady Doctor at RHC Kanganpur.

With the efforts of Chaudhary Sahib, Health department also provided the facilities of Altra sound, X-Rays, Lady Doctor and appointed missing staff at RHC Ellahabad as well.

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan knows the importance of sports and games for young generation. So, with the struggle of Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan, Sports department constructed Ahsan Stadium with beautiful Pavilion and sitting stairs at Kanganpur. It is a beautiful gift from Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan for youngsters of Kanganpur and surrounding villages.

Construction & Repairing of Roads and Other Important Projects

On the request of Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, the then Chief Minister Punjab released funds to Frontier Works Organization for one-way Kasur to Korray Sial road. He constructed Bab e Kanganpur (Gate of Kanganpur) near Grid Station Kanganpur.

Chaudhary Sahib also constructed Kanganpur-Ellahabad duel carpet road. He also released funds to repair Kanganpur-Mandi Usmanwala road and all other link roads. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan constructed new Landay-Ellahabad , Kot Iqbal-Najabat, Kanganpur-Kotha, Talwandi-Veer Kay Nau and Wadhai Kay-Jajjal roads. He also repaired Mokal road.

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan constructed Ch. Yasin Khan road and double road on both side of the canal at Kot Bismillah Kanganpur. He also built Mehmood Khan Numberdar Bypass road that connects circular road to defense road.

He also worked for the supply of clean drinking water facility for public. With the struggle of Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan, Public Health department released funds to construct water supply system at Basti Meeray, Kot Imam Din, Mohalla Kals and Ellahabad.

He constructed complete sewerage and drainage system at Kanganpur at the cost of 20 to 25 crores. He released funds for Tuff tiles for Kanganpur mound and PCC for surrounding streets at the cost of 20 to 25 crores.

Khan Sahb released 30 crores for complete sewerage and drainage system and 25 crores for PCC for Ellahabad city. He also released funds to construct PCC and Tuff tiles for complete villages of Babbar Khair and Gehlan Hithar.

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan also worked to construct soling and drainage lines in all his constituency including Jamsher Kalan and Kotha Kalan. He constructed inns on important stops of the roads. He also constructed countless bridges.

Ahsan Khan provided the facilities of seating benches and Tuff tiles to Police Station Kanganpur. He elected street lights in Kanganpur and Ellahabad cities. Ahsan Raza Khan inaugurated Busco Bus service from Kanganpur to Lahore. Chaudhary Sahib also opened beautiful Madni Park at Mohalla Kals Kanganpur. During his MPA ship, law and order situation totally changed positively.

Vileness and Qabza Mafia came to an end. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan provided two hundreds Government jobs to unemployed youngsters of his constituency.

Future Development Plans for Next Tenure

At present time, unluckily, there is no Government Associate College for Boys in his constituency. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan wishes to utilize all his competencies to open at least one Government Associate College for Boys at Kanganpur.

Khan Sahb also want to build more parks and playgrounds in his constituency. He will also pay his due share for the construction of University of Kasur. He wanted to open and upgrade boys and girls schools, Basic Health Units and Rural Health Center Kanganpur.

Ahsan Raza Khan wants to construct Kot Bismillah canal with tuff tiles from railway bridge to PTCL Exchange and will build seating benches for general public on the both sides of the canal after planting beautiful plants and trees.

Ahsan Khan wants to see a pollution free Pakistan. So, he wants to plant trees on the banks of canals and sides of roads. He will construct at least three modern public libraries with internet facility in his constituency.

Ahsan Raza Khan has a literary taste and interest. So he says that he will build a literary place for Punjabi poets of the area and Adbi Chay Khana where Punjabi literary organizations will arrange their literary sessions and meetings of poets.

For supply of clean drinking water, he will install at least 50 water filteration plants throughout his constituency. To eradicate unemployment, he will make arrangements to open at least two factories in his constituency.

For any type of medical emergency, he will do his best to establish Rescue 1122 center at Kanganpur. “He will encourage youngsters to establish NGOs as NGOs also pay their share for the development of country”,said Mr. Ahsan Raza Khan. Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan will install street lights from Bab e Kanganpur to Defense road at tomb of Baba Saidan Shah.

He wants to upgrade Government Technical Training Center Kanganpur to Government College of Technology. Chaudhary Sahib will construct a building for press club Kanganpur. Bus Stand will be out of city. He will release fund for restoration and renovation of historic sacred Gurudawa Mal Jee Sahib Kanganpur

Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan won the election of MPA after defeating a senior experienced politician named Sardar Hassan Akhtar Mokal.

From the independence of Pakistan, it is very true that no political leader of the area could perform as much developmental work as Ch. Ahsan Raza Khan did for his constituency. He showed record developmental performance.

Because of his developmental works, the people of Kanganpur called him as “Sapoot e Kanganpur” and “Shair e Kanganpur”.
