Sikh Marhi Fatmal is a pre-Partition Sikh monument located about 4 kilometers from Kaganpur near the village of Fatmal. A marhi is a place where a renowned person is cremated after a funeral ceremony. Fatmal may have been a wealthy Sikh from the area. The marhi complex comprises the Marhi Fatmal with a beautiful entrance, an ancient water well with a commemorative stone, a small water storage pond, and bathrooms.

Other
Water pond and bathrooms are not present now. These two places are destroyed by the locals. The treasure searchers destroyed this beautiful site in search of gold. The historical site of Marrhi Fatmal is in very poor and miserable condition and awaiting the concentration of the authorities for proper renovation.

Commemorative Gurmukhi writing written on the forehead of of the interior door reads as below:
” ੴ ਗਣੇਸ਼ਾਏ…. ਦੋਹਰਾ….
3 ਅੱਸੁ ਦਿਨ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ…..
…………….ਲਕ…………..…..
ਰੀ ਮਲ… ਕਮਲ ਕੋ ਪੁਤਰ ਲਾਲ ਚੰਦ..
ਜੋ ਭਲੀ ਕਰੀ ਕਰਤੁ….ਲ….
ਪੋਹ 3 ਮਿਤੀ………………..
Translation:
There is but One God. Ganesha… Couplet….
3 of [Vikrami month] Assu [day] Wednesday..

Renowned photographers, historians, and researchers, including Baba Jee Shahid Shabbir (Islamabad), Imran William (Lahore), Prof. Veer Shuaib Raza (Dera Ghazi Khan), Ali Usman Baig (Lahore), Baba Jee Iqbal Qaisar (Lahore), and Syed Faizan Naqvi Lahore Da Khujji, have visited this historical site.
