Researcher Adnan Shahzad Gill belongs to an educated Christian family of Kanganpur city. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill is second from local Christian community who studied in Forman Christian College University Lahore. The first member of Christian community of Kanganpur who studied in Forman Christian College University is his elder brother Mr. Ashar Gill. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill was born on 22nd August 1996 in the house of Mr. Abid Shahzad Gill and Miss Kalsoom Akhtar. Adnan Shahzad Gill had one brother and two sisters. He lives at Kot Bismillah Kanganpur Tehsil Chunian District Kasur. His father Abid Shahzad Gill is Pastor of Landianwala and Satoki Churches. He is very nice person. Traveling, book reading and gardening is spare time hobbies of Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill.

Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill passed his Matriculation in 2014 from Government Higher Secondary School Kanganpur. He passed his Higher Secondary School Certificate (I.Com) from Government Higher Secondary School Kanganpur in 2016. After this, Mr. Adnan got admitted in Forman Christian College University Lahore and obtained the degree of BS Honours in Political Science & Education in 2020. Now he is going to get admission soon in (Post Graduate)M. Phil in Public Policy and Governance in Forman Christian College University.

Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill worked as Director of Marketing of Forman Political Science Society in 2017. He also performed his role as Executive Director of Forman Journalism Society in 2018. He remained Assistant Vice President and Vice President of Forman Educational Society in 2018. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill worked as Executive Director of Magna Society as well. He was also worked as Executive Director of Forman History Society in 2019. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill performed his active role in arranging sessions, conferences and concerts under these educational societies. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill is a true Punjabi lover. He promoted his mother language Punjabi and Punjabi culture during his stay at Forman Christian College University Lahore.
Mustard Welfare Foundation Kanganpur
Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill has a soft heart to work for the betterment of poor and needy people without any religious discrimination. His welfare work is for all. Now a days, Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill is working to register an Non Profit Organization in the name of “Mustard Welfare Foundation Kanganpur”. We hope soon this NPO will be registered by the government authorities. The objectives of Mustard Welfare Foundation is to provide clean drinking water after installing water filtration plants in backward villages.
Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill recently opened a water filtration plant in surrounding village Satoki. Arrangements of wedding of daughters of poor families is also objective of Mustard Welfare Foundation. Provision of quality of education for poor, needy and orphan children is also one of its objectives. With the financial support of Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill, ten poor and needy children are receiving education from Rangers Public School Kanganpur. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill is trying to do this welfare work with the financial & economical support of his family, brother Ashar Gill (Natherland) and some friends from USA.

About His Research Thesis
Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill is another excellent and authentic academic researcher of Kanganpur city. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill obtained the degree of BS Honours in Political Science & Education from Forman Christian College University Lahore in the year 2020 under Roll Number 20-10450. The topic of his research thesis is “Selected Representations of Christians in Legislative Assemblies: Rising Religious Discrimination in Pakistan”. Mr. Adnan Shahzad Gill conducted this research thesis under the supervision of Dr. Prof. Wajid Ali Ranjha.
It is abstract of his research thesis that it is both empirically testable and plausible that the Christian minority of Pakistan has been sidelined because of the joint electorate system resulting in rising religious discrimination through the violation of fundamental human and democratic rights. The only way out for the oppressed Christian minority is separate electorate which gives them the right to elect their representatives through free and fair elections that care for the rights and interests in an Islamic state. This can only be achieved by constitutional reforms.
